I am a huge fan of water soluble hair products. And there are many hair products out there that have different properties, different level of holds, that work well with different hair types. And everyone would know what works well with their hair and what doesn't. And I am always looking for that special quality in a hair product that works especially well with my hair type - thin asian hair.
Always wanting to try something new and different, I decided to get Suavecito Firme Hold Pomade. Suavecito, translating to suave or smoothly in Spanish, prides itself in its products' water solubility and being able to hold tight like wax and shines like grease pomade.
Suavecito Firme Hold made in Santa Ana, CA, USA, comes in a 4oz (113.39g) plastic container. And when opened, the smell of freshly washed linen and a hint of manly deodorant would great your senses. It is actually one of my favourite, if not my most favourite smell of all. It has a fresh scent that would most certainly bright up your morning when you going about your routine.
Suavecito Firme Hold is made up of Water, Ceteareth-25, Glycerin, PEG-7 Glycerin, Cocoate, Propylene, Glycol, PEG 40 Hydogentated Castor Oil, Fragrance (Parfum), DMDM Hydrated Caramel, Simeththicone, PVP, PEG 8 Beeswax, Methylparaben, Palysorbate 20. With all these ingredients makes Suavecito behave very differently from other water soluble pomades.
*I'm terribly sorry for the terrible pictures.
Easy to apply and re-comb, Suavecito has a good medium to strong hold, dries up and hardens quickly. However, that only happens when you apply it to dry hair. And if you don't like your hair all hard and stiff, but wavy, you can choose to apply Suavecito to damp hair, with lesser holding strength. Suavecito would be able to hold up to the heat and humidity of Singapore's weather, but its always wise to bring a comb out where ever you go, in less of late need to re-comb.
You can get this product at Heist's Panic room, or tuck shop and Sundry supplies.
Till Next Time.
